Here’s a pilot for a radio podcast called “Instrumental Minds” that Chris Danforth created. Unsure if it will ever see the light of day given the current state of the world, Chris is graciously sharing it with us to enjoy. Super interesting!
I wanted to make a weird, jammy instrumental with an electric lead throughout but only using my daughter’s crappy thrift store acoustic and my ancient 1994 Casio PK-1. Naturally this required many GarageBand effects but I’m happy with the outcome. The title comes from a short story I wrote about an eccentric man that used to live in Saint Cloud. I had originally recorded myself reading the story in the background of the song but decided to leave the track out because it just didn’t seem to work.
